The country stands 63 on the Human Capital Index [HCI] as of 2020 and 73 on the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) per capita in the world as of 2021. Thailand’s three main economic sectors include agriculture, manufacturing, and services. Software professionals, managers, healthcare specialists, etc., are some skills that are in demand in the country. Thailand is famous for its beaches, food, and spas and is a major tourist hub. As of 2022, approximately 156,818 Thai nationals are living outside the country and working abroad.
